You know, as well as I do, that the topic will come up. Since not everyone celebrates on Christmas day I thought I'd start this now. Our Christmas will be on Christmas Eve and some of us will be continuing with Christmas through the New Year.
I thought I'd share what we have received from friends and loved ones so far.
Marlie has a new nightgown, a suitcase for her trip, and a camera. There's more, but I didn't ask for all the details. She celebrated Christmas with her stepmom's family this past weekend.
elmono, myself, and Marlie were given a trip to Disney World this year. We leave the day after Christmas.
So...anybody else get something special for Christmas yet? Or are we waiting until the actual day. Also, does anyone here celebrate something else or nothing at all? I'm always curious about different traditions.

I know everything I'm getting, I think. With my mom unable to go out and do all the shopping like she normally does, we've pretty much just gotten all of our own things, even the stocking stuffers. I'm getting some wool socks with those sticky pads on the bottom so I don't fall and bust my ass on the hardwood floors, yay!

Excellent. As far as I know, mine are just plain wool, which is fine by me. As long as I don't slip and kill myself or strain my groin in an attempt to not kill myself.

My Christmas gift is spending the holidays with my favorite Mouse seven hours south of here. And having Vengeance and Elmono bringing the munchkin down there as well. The in-laws are springing for the trip and they join us on the 30th. Throw in a cameo appearance by my father and stepmother and I get the biggest Christmas present of all.
Time with my family.
I haven't had that in years and right now it's very precious to me. It tops anything wrapped in a box.

It sounds like everyone knows what they're getting and it's not even Christmas yet. :-)

Yeah, McCabe rooms aren't all that big. My 20" took up most of the space on my dresser when I lived there. There was space enough for my Gamecube and a small spot for me to put my foot on to get in the bed (it was lofted).
