I can't wait for Christmas. HL2 is like the only Christmas present that I'm getting that I don't already have, rofl.

Hehe... the three combined are around 350K, but yes, they're large... 1024x768, my playable resolution... which is pretty good considering I'm getting 50-60 fps, hehe... leet game... and the thing in those lower two images is a gunship

dude, hl2 has been rocking my world!  Gone is the crazy shooter that has unreal expectations for you to solve some stupid puzzle.  THey continue to rely on the physics (to show off that Havok engine i suppose) to solve things, and somehow that seems to just be intuitive.  I havent gotten stuck for more than a couple minutes in anyone place yet.  And YAY for making a very linear game exciting, and seem nonlinear.  Im running an older system, and my pc is only running hl2 at 800 x 600 (My video cards new, but im still running a 1 ghz cpu).  That said, it still looks amazing, looks better than recent games ive been playing at 1024.  HL2 is where its at!

Ravenholm held me up for a few... partly because of ammo, partly on layout, partly on my own stupidity, lol... but that was definitely a fun game... playing through again on Hard (beat it on Normal first time through) and I'm back up to the start of Entanglement... There's a lot of nifty stuff to find, that's where most of the puzzles come in... The linear play is pretty easy (though Highway 17 had a kink in it for a few minutes till you realized what you needed to do), but the stuff that fleshes out the storyline is where the real puzzles are
