Why does Santa wear red and white? The answer can be explained by a simple holiday can of Coca-Cola. Obviously, he's sponsored by Coke, thus he has to wear the colors of his sponsor. Sponsorship is wonderful for Santa so he can pay for all the licensing fees needed for his elves (who either work for free or are paid by Coca-Cola) to make certain toys. You see, Santa and his elves just can't make a Star Wars toy themselves. They have to get the licensing rights from Lucas Licensing for the Star Wars name and likenesses and from Hasbro for use of their logo and packaging. So, Santa has to pay for that and Coca-Cola pays for his sponsorship so he can pay for the fees. And that is my theory about Santa Claus.

It's either that or he's a communist. Let's examine. The North pole is filled with hundreds of elves, who work for little or no pay. All are on the same rank, without posibility of promotion. Santa is the dictator who sits with Mrs. Claus, commands over the elves, and eats a lot. The elves have no oppertunities, benefits, or promotions, and live in the same cabins, same lifestyle, and as stated previously, same rank. Oh, and the ever popular argument, he's always wearing red. What's that all about? Shamelessly ripped from a post on ATOT, but it's funny. Especially since I've been calling people communists for years.

Hehehe, yeah, I remember that post. But nowadays everything is about sponsorship and no one cares about Communism. I'm pretty sure he keeps the reindeer hyperactive like that because of Coca-Cola injection.

I didn't really expect her to agree. But you could put that on your present to her. It'd still be funny.

I think the two theories are tied together. Clearly Coca-Cola sponsors communism.

lol, agreed...
Santa is a communist. Who else besides a commie would give gifts (assuming they do such things) to everyone, where all bad are given coal, regardless of degree of bad, and all good are given gifts coming from one sack (most likely all presorted to be of the same value)... No way he could be anything else. Besides, he even has the right color scheme (just like Coca-Cola).
