"Good day for us, but I hate to see Kurt Busch win. He's a big whiner. But what do I know?"

That's too sweet. How many drivers does Kevin Harvick dislike anyway? I can think of Kurt Busch, Joe Nemechek, and Greg Biffle at the moment.

Oh... one more thing...

Tickets for Bristol: $130
Headset Rental: $20
Beer and a pizza: $30
Watching Matt Kenseth's face after being shoved by Jeff Gordon: Priceless

For everything else in life, there's MasterCard... not the official credit card of NASCAR

This is why I love NASCAR!

I told RichN that Jeffy looked like the alien from Preditor.  Little thing didn't even bother to take off his helmet.  And you are right - the look on Kenseth's face was priceless.  We met this guy in person and he's about as harmless as a fruit fly.  Never thought Jeffy had that in him.

I just think that it's funny that Matt and Jeff were saying such nice things about each other after that. I'm sorry, but THAT is what a NASCAR driver should be. I'm so sick of Helton with his 'be nice' attitude. I love that Matt and Jeff were both okay with each other and okay with the altercation after the race.

A real driver should be able to punch a guy's lights out for an incident on the track and then be having beers together that night in my opinion. It's how it used to be.

And Jeff said they'd be fine and Matt even said Jeff was right to be pissed and that he should have known better than to approach him to apologize that soon after the incident. Good for both of them. They've both gone up a lot in my book.

I've always liked Matt Kenseth because he's a nice guy but he will let you know if you've pissed him off. But after any incidents involving him, he's always the guy who tries to apologize first or to see the other side of the story. I don't even know why NASCAR is investigating the incident. What investigation is there? Matt Kenseth was frustrated that Kurt Busch knocked him out of the way. Jeff Gordon passed him. Gordon just happened to be the guy in front of Kenseth on the last lap. Kenseth spins him, which would anger any driver on that track. Gordon completes his laps, quickly gets out of his car (still angry), and finds Kenseth (or Kenseth finds him, whichever one). With all of his anger built up inside of him, he shoves Kenseth and has a few words. They're separated, Gordon cools down, and then in his interview said why he was angry but that he likes racing with Matt and, hey, it's Bristol. Kenseth then gets interviewed, said it was all his fault and he should have waited to apologize. They were cool after that. See, I just did NASCAR's job. The incident was just a normal human reaction. Heck, they should be happy that all Gordon did was shove him instead of punch him.

Everyone said it all day long.  It's Bristol.  Simple as that.  Now up comes Martinsville.  And it'll be the same.  I agree with RichN - they should separate these two short tracks by at least a week to let some anger calm down.  Maybe switch one of them with Atlanta.  At least it wasn't snowing in Atlanta this past weekend.

Biggest feud in NASCAR right now - Harvick against Busch.  I don't see that as a two way street, though.

Funny how the two feuds in NASCAR both have the Busch brothers involved: Harvick/Kurt Busch and Stewart/Kyle Busch

Oh, good lord, NASCAR fined Gordon $10,000 (mere pennies to Gordon) and put him on probation until August 30. Some friggin punishment. That's the first time Gordon has been fined for something like that in his career. I don't think he's going to have a problem with that stupid probation.

Forget the look on Kenseth's face when Jeffy pushed him.  I want footage of the look on Jeffy's face when the fine and the probation were announced.  Jeff "Probie" Gordon.  LMAO!  And I'm a Gordon fan.

I don't think he would have given a face. He would have shrugged it off, taken out his wallet, and paid the $10,000 in cash that he carries around with him. As said before, $10,000 is absolutely nothing to him. He'd spend $10,000 on a toilet seat if he wanted to.

Actually, he's taking on a Jeffy attitude right now.  Says he's going to be a hardass.  Maybe $10K is a drop in the bucket and Junior (another person without money woes) was fined $25K a few years ago for his "quote".  But the whole situation was just odd.  I expected a Busch or Stewart or Harvick to be the highlight of Bristol.  Not Jeffy.

I love it when Gordon gets aggressive. Especially when he punts another driver for getting on his bad side. Jeff Gordon is probably one of the best punters on the track. He manages to punt people without wrecking them most of the time.

Can we officially switch over to calling him Jeffy?  It just so fits him.
