Ah, yeah, I see it. It's never showed up in Firefox for me (weird how our Firefoxes are so different. Hard to believe a different version makes that much difference in how CSS is read. Then again, you're using v.8, aren't you? I'm using v1.0, I think) and I haven't had the time to fully test in both Firefox and IE. I'm relying on users to point things out for now. I may try and fix that since it's a pretty blatant issue but I'm going to take today off from working on the site for the most part. I was so tired last night while I was working fixing the major things right after I changed the software... I don't even remember fixing the avatars. It's kind of a blur.

Now that's interesting.... I've not heard of anyone else having that issue. I'll have to try and get ahold of you later and see exactly what your browser thinks the path to the smilies is. I can't imagine why they don't work, though.

Unfortunately, linking me does no good since I have no problems seeing the smilies. We'll have to get together later on and I need to see either a screenshot or the html that is being generated by your browser and go from there.

Aight, well, later on, we'll see what we can work out to make them work. It might just be a directory setting that didn't get set when I made the switch from the old forums. The smilies were working for both of you (Chris and Chandra) the other night when you beta tested, right?

I think they're working now. I missed the smiley directory when I made the switch. It was still set to the directory that they were in when I was developing the new theme.

Actually, I realized that one myself not long ago. I'm not sure why it's doing that. I'll have to try and figure that one out. Nathan: Dunno why my 1.0 and your 1.0 are so different. The problem occurs in my IE, though, so I at least have a way to test for it and get the issue resolved. I'll try and get some of these things fixed in the next day or so. |

No clue. You also had that weird problem with the address bar being grey, and it didn't do that with ANY version I had.

Also true. And the only reason it's not grey anymore is because of the theme I'm using. All my textareas are still grey, though. google, the comments stuff on my site, maybe, if I didn't manually define it to be #fcfcfc, etc. It's annoying. White looks so much better and I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it white consistently.

Now that's a thought. I suppose it could be because of the uxtheme.dll patch and the StyleXP theme that I run. Maybe I'll try turning the theme off and seeing what happens. Or installing Firefox on the server and see what it looks like there, since both my desktop and laptop have my StyleXP theme installed.
