Ya, I'm going to try and read some of that site in the next couple of days to try and get caught up before Saturday. Mmmm. Even though I'm not sure how much I'll be able to play Saturday due to Christmas dinner and the like.

Whoa, you never finished HL? I would have sworn you did.

And I'm intending to use it to fill in the gaps, as well. Based on the video I have of a guy playing the entire game in 45 minutes (yes, 45 minutes. Jason, I'm sure you especially will want to see this), I was about 1/3 of the way through it when I stopped.

I never finished HL either.  When I got to Xen, my computer had a heart attack.

Have you tried it on newh0tness? Or would that be even worse than on oldandbusted?

This was ages ago -- back when HL was new.

Yeah, I've heard about HLDQ... been following those projects since back in the days of Quake.  Not sure if 45 minutes is up there w/their times or not, but I'd be interested in trying myself and/or seeing that :-d  I could definitely tear through pretty quick.  HL2 on the other hand, I'm still working on getting the hang of Wink

I don't see how anyone could go much faster than this guy was going. A lot of times, when he wasn't flying through the levels, he was waiting on something to happen. A scientist to catch up or something like that. I really don't know how it could be done faster than he did it.
