If you didn't know, Kirby Puckett went through a stroke yesterday. He is now listed as critical after he had surgery because of the stroke. This guy is one of the modern greats of baseball. Two World Series with the Twins and a Hall of Famer. Let's hope he pulls through.

I saw that this morning.  He is truly a class guy.  My thoughts are with him and his family.  He's only 44 years old - my age.

Kirby Puckett died today (Monday). Dang, I remember him while I was growing up as the face of the Minnesota Twins. It's sad to see him go.

One of the greats.  One of the few that felt the loyalty to one team and stayed through the good times and the bad times.  He only left baseball and the Twins when he went blind in one eye.  When we go see Cal inducted to the Hall next summer, we'll pay respects to Kirby.

I wonder how many players stick with one team nowadays. Seems like none because it's all about the money now.
