Of course I do feel a bit sorry for Spencer. I mean...he thought he was being one of the good guys.

And Chloe? Hell hath no fury like Chloe scorned! Not only did Spencer look afraid of her, but Buchanan was nice to her about her outburst probably because he didn't want to get his ass kicked.

I just hope she doesn't try to take on that damn hobbit.

I wonder when the Hobbit and Jack go off together on a long quest to defeat evil in the enemy stronghold... it almost looks like Jack is going to do that next episode. He needs a faithful Hobbit at his side... Sam can cook, fight, cuddle, and make it look like he's about to kiss and love his companion. He can do anything. Jack needs to drop Audrey and hook up with Samwise Gamgee and they can both go off to fight the horrific Christmas Tree.

Well that was... interesting. Samwise can run the show at CTU pretty well, though. I'll give him credit where credit's due.

He sure is. When he came in a few episodes ago, I was like "Why did they have to give Sean Astin the part of a character that we're going to just hate because he's nothing but a suit who think he knows everything?" He's definitely not that character, although he can be a little callous. I like him.

i've got my dibs on them building up Astin to the point we REALLY like him, and then BAM, he's gonna be a bad guy.

That could happen. And it wouldn't surprise me, either. But maybe they want us to think that's what they're going to do, so now they're not going to do it, haha.

Yeah, the opposite of what they normally do... build a character to be an asshole (Mason, Chapelle) and then redeem them right before they friggin die and when they're actually starting to become likeable! So, yeah, the Hobbit is going to become hated juding by that pattern.

That would rock so much, but you know that Aaron won't because he's not in politics. Sad

Well, it all this nonsense around Jack went away, he'd be back with CTU and would be teamed up with Curtis

They'd make quite a team. Curtis is plenty capable of running the show by himself and is a badass in his own right. Pair him up with Jack and let Samwise run things from CTU... no terrorist plot would ever succeed.

Could be. Get him built up now so people like him and will watch the show once Kiefer has left.

I think it's clear that Michelle died to make it believable that Tony was going to come back to CTU. He'll probably be running it next year, but I really like Buchanan.

Yeah, that's a good point. I really want to see Tony stay around longer. Tony and Curtis could carry the show (probably a lot cheaper, too) if Kiefer leaves. Add in Buchanan cuz he's a good suit and I think the show would be just fine.

I don't think Kiefer is leaving. He's a smart guy. The show has done some things for him that movies didn't.
