It pained me very greatly to read that. Man, all the stupid people in the world...
But it looks pretty outdated considering only Win95 and Win98 were mentioned

You'd be surprised in a corporate world how many machines might still happen to be 9x or NT 4... and that guy worked with some real winners

I believe it... My dad told me one time that back when P3s were new that NASA was just then getting rid of 486s. Freaking NASA and freaking 486s.

When my dad was in the Air Force, the base he worked at used a computer from 1952... and this was in the 80s they were still using it. He told me he actually had to walk inside the thing and it used punch cards and the whole deal. *shudder*

Hahaha. I'd love to see one of those. I guess as a child of the 80s that was like 7 when we got our first computer, it's hard to even imagine computers that big. I don't even really remember life before computers. Except, of course, for Legos, GI Joes, and TMNT.

Dude, don't forget Tranformers! (I still collect those things) We've actually had a computer in my house since i was 2, good ol' Apples, i will never use one again. I HATE MACS, no matter how better they are at music recording programs or in graphics. we've been building pcs since the age of 386s in my house, and let me tell you, its a hell of a lot easier now.

Transformers, true. I think I had a few of those when I was a kid. I was definitely a TMNT and Lego kid, though.

Damn...that was like the beginning of my awareness. I was like 2? No... 5? No... Oh...that's right. I was 25! I'm such a loser.

hehe, pretty amusing. I like the old women talking about the recycle bin:
# Woman 1: "What is that little trash can on the screen?" # Woman 2: "My son says that is call the 'recycle bin'. He tells me when I don't want a Word document anymore and I delete it, it really goes in there." # Woman 1: "Why in the recycle thingy? Can't you just erase it?" # Woman 2: "Oh no, Word wouldn't work for very long if I did that, I would run out of blank pages." # Woman 1: "Why?" # Woman 2: "Because it cleans the words off the pages, then sends the blank sheets back to Word so they can be used again. That's why it's called the recycle bin."
But yeah, most of this stuff seems really old.
