She died today at the age of 85 of heart failure.  If you've never seen the Poseidon Adventure, you'll never get this lady's spirit.  She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute.  Watch some of the old Roseanne reruns on Nick at Nite when Ms. Winters plays the grandmother.  Hilarious.  Little known fact - Shelley Winters won two Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actress.

Goodbye to a great lady.

RIP Mrs. Winters. She definitely was a lady. I loved her on Roseanne and it's been awhile since I've seen the Poseidon Adventure, but Im' sure she was awesome.

She was nominated for that role but didn't win.  She should have.  Cheesy film but she was great.
