What kind of cars/trucks/vans/motorcycles/mopeds/etc have you had over the years? Here's mine:
1987 Mercury Cougar 5.0 V8. awwwwwwww jeah. This car was my baby. I put so much money and work into it over the years. This thing was bigger than most station wagons, but qualified as a 2 door coupe and it smoked. Too many memories invested there, but she died. Also had it for the duration of a 5 year relationship as well, but the car and fiancee both gave up on me around the same time. Ended up giving her (the car)to the Salvation Army to fix up for someone. I enjoyed my time with that car to much to charge anybody for it.
1992 Plymouth Voyager SE. V6 of some kind. THis was mom;s extra car. After she bought a 2000 Nissan Altima, she let me borrow this for about 8 months in between the Cougar dying and my new car. While not fast, it did have one redeeming feature: speed holes/lines. You know when the paint on your hood starts peeling off? well mine did it in aerodynamic lines, so i used to say it was from me driving so fast. not exactly a hit with the ladies. I did put a decent sound system in that though, now belongs to my brother who just started driving.
2003 Pontiac Grand Am. little inline 4. This is another car i paid for. been paying for, and will continue to pay for. But thats alright. I've already put 20,000 miles on her in about a year (driving back and forth between Omaha and LIncoln for school will do that), but shes been reliable. I havent had to replace a thing on it yet. Not a hit with the ladies either, but im starting to think that may just be me. She's mine, and thats enough for me.

1990 Ford Tempo. It truly brought home the phrase "Fix Or Repair Daily". I loved it because it was my first car. I hated it for always having something wrong.
Now I have a 99 Chevy Cavalier. I love the car and hope that it lasts until I get a Hummer, H2, or a big ass truck.

1991 or 1992 Mercury Sable: I hated this car. It was a blue Ford POS and friends of mine called it a grandpa car because it looked like something old people would drive. It had many problems and it finally died when the radiator blew.
1996 Honda Civic: Now this car is my baby. 103,000 miles and still going strong, although the check engine light is on right now. This was sort of an emergency buy because the Sable blew up. Luckily, my grandparents gave me money to buy a car and a friend of mine said to go for a Civic. So, we found one used and it's a great car.

I've only had one car. A 1989 Chevy Cavalier. It's got 135,000 miles on it now and it's on its last legs. S'okay, it really only needs to last until I can find a damn job. When I do, I've already got the replacement vehicle pretty much picked out.
I intend to buy a 2001+ Toyota Tundra with the TRD package. One of my brother's friend's dad has one without the TRD and he came over to play basketball and poker with my brother today and he let me inspect it, sit in it, and even offered me a test drive. I declined, fearing the wrath of a 6'6" 240lb. football coach should anything happen to it, but he did give me a ride around the block. When he stomped on it, it went. *makes Tim Allen grunting noises* That was with the V8, but for the sake of gas mileage and price, I may just stick with the V6 if that's available with the TRD package.

1st was a 1970 Ford Maverick--black and red, 2nd was a 19-seventy something Pontiac Sunbird---light blue, 3rd was a 19-60 or 70 something light blue Buick Special that previously belonged to my parents, 4th was a 19-who knows what year-dark green "HUGE" Buick something, and had some kind of trouble and paying out money on all of them. Since then--I've had 4 Honda Civics, presently a Honda Civic LX (2001). Never had any trouble with any of them. HONDA'S RULE!!!!!

Currently, a black 2000 Sebring convertible I named Jasmine. Very sleek and sexy. My favorite driving car.
The car before that was a tank. A red 1992 Pontiac Bonneville with supercharger. That thing was awesome in the Nebraska snow and ice. Christine lasted me well and long and finally ended up dying along side a Georgia road. She had 160,000 hard miles on her. She had been totally rebuilt after I crashed her into a retaining wall on I80 in Omaha doing 50 MPH after some ditz spun out in front of me. Said ditz had no insurance. A month and $10K later, Christine was back. I'm sure elmono remembers that car.
My first car, though, was a classic. A 1966 Ford Falcon. Oh lord, this thing was somethin' else. I bought it for $500 that I got from a high school scholarship. Talk about a boat. It had bench seats front and back. I used to haul six or eight people back home from college in the thing. This was in Pennsylvania where you couldn't have a single hint of rust anywhere on a car. So my dad duct taped the sucker and spray painted the whole thing this puke shade of light blue. That was the car that my parents were sitting in the back seat of and a couple of beer cans rolled out from under the front seat. My dad picked up the empty can, asked if it was mine (I was 17 at the time) and I said yes. He said "you need to be more careful with throwing these away".

Well my car just went to shit today. The temp spiked big time and apparently I need to change the coolant. Yay me, but not money to do it so I'm without a car for a couple of months. But I'm sure the husband will let me use his car.

sad? really, i was too busy this last semester to have time to be sad or realize my life was sad, haha. We'll see after this semester of warping kids minds at the high school level if i'm still in as sad a state. Odds are... not looking too good right now. It's always good comparing notes, though.

Well, being poor, having girls not like you, and being unemployed is sad, in my opinion.
You're better off because you get to warp minds, haha. That sounds funny to say. I never thought of teachers as mind warpers...
