That parallels their real actions so well. I particularly liked the " RIAA attorneys said they were also looking into the legality of word-of-mouth "favorites-sharing" sites, such as coffee shops, universities, and living rooms." bit.

On a related note, which I don't know the validity of (but it's crazy enough that it could be false or, knowing the RIAA, completely true), but I heard that the RIAA was going after sites with lyrics on them. The part that makes me think that may also be a joke is when someone said "yeah, they're probably doing that because someone will sing the song and the RIAA will get pissed because someone sang the song instead of buying the CD or legally downloading the song"
