Repeated head trauma can cause brain damage

« on: Dec 15, 2004, 03:18 PM »

I started playing Project Gotham 2 again yesterday in an effort to contain my excitement for Forza Motorsport (Xbox), which doesn't come out until February. Forza is so far off the top of my list right now, it's crazy.

So, what games are you looking forward to? And for what system?

Resident Evil 4, The Movies, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (for PC, no PS2 for me), Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic 2 (I'd rather play it on the PC than the Xbox), and The Sims 2: University

Ooops, I got so wrapped up in Forza that I totally forgot about The Movies, GTA:SA PC, and KOTOR 2

Oh, please, she's been taking over my computer when I'm at work to play The Sims 2. She's addicted to that game.

It's called finals and you know you'll be on it constantly again once the year is over.

I'm looking forward to the final version of Paintball 2, but that will probably be a long ways off. Wink

Also looking forward to actually having enough free time play DOOM3 and HL2 and NFSU2...

We're playing pb2 soon, Nathan. I want to play.

And having more testers is always a good thing for programs, so you can't disagree Smiley

3rd quarter? Tell me that translates to May/June in Rockstar's fiscal year.

Good news. I just went to IGN PC and GTA: SA for PC has been officially announced for a June 7, 2005 release. Happy days.

Now that's what I'm talkin' about. It's fun on the PS2 but in my opinion, GTA is a much better game on the PC. At least, the shooting parts are. The driving stuff, the controller makes that better, I think. I suppose I could use a joystick for it like Jason does, but I have a serious lack of real estate on my desk. Maybe when I get the desk that I want, I can spread out and play games the way they were meant to be played.

The catch is, joystick for choppers, planes and cars; that can just be way up front and out of the way.  The mouse is the only thing you need real estate for.  My joystick is behind the monitor halfway, even, so it's not a real concern.

Not all of us user uberlow mouse sensitivies Smiley I just need room to put all the stuff somewhere on my desk. You've seen my computer cart (same one I had in McCabe)... With the keyboard and mouse, the only way to put a joystick on the desk is to extend the desk somehow, like using a book or board or something. Kind of awkward and not level.

Or you can just be so good with the MP5 that your opponents insist that you've replaced their helmets with a magnetic helmet that attracts the bullets. Ask rusl about that; he'll remember.

That sounds like me. I've got tons of games that I hardly play. On the contrary, though, I've got pretty much nothing but time until I find a job.

Yeah. Although I have been playing some HL2. Up to the beginning of Highway 17 right now. I'm not like Jason and can sit and play through the whole game in 2 days :-P
