I've read what the book, In the Groove, is about and I've also read an excerpt from the book. It cracked me up.
The author is Pamela Britton and I'm not sure I understand why this is a brand new thing because she wrote a NASCAR book before for Harlequin called Dangerous Curves. It's just as hilarious.
From what I've seen, it's good for someone who doesn't know anything about NASCAR. For those of us who do....well, it's going to be great for a laugh. The worst part is that this woman worked for NASCAR Winston Cup at one point in her career. Oh well. Good luck to her. She's a Biffle fan because he apparently has an organization. Here's what the website says about it. I thought it was kind of cool.
"The aim of The Greg Biffle Foundation for Animals is to create awareness and to serve as advocates to improve the well-being of animals by engaging the power and passion of the motorsports industry. The foundation will donate funds generated by the sales of a special NASCAR PETS calendar to local Humane Societies, no-kill animal shelters, spay and neuter clinics and the Animal Adoption League."
I really want that calendar.

Anyway, that's all I found out. It should be interesting reading. I wonder what the races will start doing to celebrate. Oh, and no....she doesn't use real drivers as the hot hunk in her story. Sorry, disnut. No hot Junior sex scenes unless you write them yourself.
