Seeing how several other threads have been derailed already due to our antics, I think it's a good time to start a thread specifically for reliving and sharing our adventures in college.

Remember the opossum outside our apartment, Nathan? And the time you tried to fly down the hill using your umbrella?

I saw the rubberband pics so let's move on to penis videos and squirrel stories.

Well, I may have to shy away from the penis stories for now...

But squirrels. k, well, I suppose it starts when they moved in. We were home for fall break and they decided that living in our wall would be better than living outside. I guess that a brick was already loose or part of it was missing so the mother squirrel had her babies in the wall, if I recall correctly. Well, when they were born, they moved around a lot and scratched the wall. Nathan I were sitting there wondering wtf was going on. It finally dawned on us when we saw a lot of squirrels outside the window. And so begins the squirrel era.

While I'm a little fuzzy on the details, we ended up calling maintenance and they sent over a couple of guys who put a trap outside our window and put some peanut butter inside to attract the squirrels. It wasn't long before a squirrel got itself stuck in the cage. It didn't like that at all and basically ran itself to death, literally. I can't remember if we called maintenance to tell them that they caught a squirrel and it was now dead or not, but Phil wanted to bring it inside in case it wasn't dead. We knew it was, though. So anyway, he goes outside and climbs up this rickety-ass 3-story ladder to outside our apartment and looks at the squirrel and confirms its deadness. He ended up not bring the cage in, thank god.

I can't remember if it was before or after the squirrel cage, but I was standing outside one day and noticed a squirrel sitting on our windowsill. Very slowly, I raised the blinds up out of the way and called Nathan in to bring his camera in to make a video. I take the little twisty part of the blinds that opens and shuts them and slam it against the window, scaring the crap out of the poor squirrel. He darts around on the windowsill and nearly falls off. And then he comes back to look in the window. This would probably be better with the accompanying video. Nathan?

That sucks about the dead squirrel, but shame on Phil for climbing up that old ladder. Of course, I have done stupider things, but I don't plan on talking about it here because there's nobody that can remember those times with me. LOL.

So...you got a video camera so that you could scare a squirrel? What would PETA say?
