Most of the Super is a Dick section of that site is from the Lois Lane comics. It looks like the Lois Lane series is nothing but Superman being an ass to Lois and Lana. Lois dies many times in that series and there's one instance where Superman severs her air hose in space because she didn't want to marry him. I think DC Comics was on drugs for most of that series' run.

I'm still confused as to why eactly DC would want to soil the reputation of one of their signature characters like that? Unless I'm totally out of touch with comics, which I'm sure I am, aren't Superman and Batman the biggest characters in the DC universe?
