Gotta love Kenseth and not allowing a teammate to get 5 bonus points for leading the race (especially since it was Kurt Busch).

Update: Kurt Busch apparently isn't too happy with Kenseth right now either. Not like it matters, Busch's championship hopes are pretty much over now.

Busch is an idiot if he wants the championship handed to him. Someone like that isn't a real champion anyway.

Now Kenseth, he's a real champion. Won it the hard way and, unfortunately, his championship win was undermined by the fact that his consistency and having only one win caused the Chase to be formed in the first place (although NASCAR denies it, we all know it's true). Funny thing is, the Chase still requires consistency, as proven by Rusty Wallace who has no wins but has a chance to win the whole thing.

Biffle is also taking Kenseth's side on the matter:

There was a lot of talk after Kansas about teammates letting each other lead a single lap and getting five bonus points.

Roush Racing has all five of its cars in the Chase for the Nextel Cup, and the issue came to a head at Kansas, when Matt Kenseth did not allow Kurt Busch to lead a lap.

Greg Biffle said that Kenseth made the right decision because Busch couldn't get to Kenseth's Ford.

"If you want to lead a lap, you better have a good enough car to lead a lap," Biffle said. "We will give up four or five car lengths to let a guy lead a lap."
