This witch is driving me nutzed. RichN is scheduled to fly into Dallas on Monday. We'll (I'll) have to monitor the situation all weekend. So far, Delta isn't delaying or refunding anything for Dallas.
Rolando - your family in San Antonio OK?
Kinda puts my thoughts of an Atlanta Friday evening commute back into the "freaking deal with it" area.

I think I heard something on the radio this morning saying that Delta has filed for bankruptcy and were cutting like 9000 jobs and pay cuts pretty much across the board. Hopefully everything works out.
As for the storm itself, it's crazy with all these big storms. Like two days ago, Rita was the third most powerful storm in recorded history. This not 4 weeks after the fifth most powerful storm. Rita was only the third to have a pressure below 900mb. Insane. I feel bad as it is for the people of Houston, Galveston, etc., but I feel really bad for the people of Louisiana and Mississippi that evacuated to Houston and are now having to leave again. I saw an interview with a man this morning on CNN who said he and his family had evacuated to Houston and were staying at a Hampton Inn using the money that they had gotten from the Red Cross. The hotel was forcing them to leave so they could give the room to someone else. Pretty shitty.
I think I'll try to call Rolando later (assuming his cell number is the same) to see what the deal in SA is if he's not posted here before then.

Delta did file for bankruptcy but is not expected to change their schedules due to that. They want to restructure and get the creditors off their backs for now. Jobs will be cut and I think the only way they could do that was to file. If Delta goes TU, Atlanta will probably freak. That would be like Coca-Cola pulling out of here.
Rita herself sucks. Katrina and Rita. The Two Worst Bitches of 2005. Watch that asshole in my fantasy football league change his team name to Lovely Rita the Meter Maid. I will quit if that happens.
