what the HELL is that? Thats not a controller, its a friggin remote.  with the extra little remote, it looks like a damn remote to one of those adjustable beds for old folks.  blech.

I agree. Although I guess maybe it'll be like the last few Nintendo controllers - try it before you determine it's fugly and unusable. We'll see.

Nintendo DS = a win for absurd hardware, Virtua Boy = a horrible loss, so there's really no telling how this will turn out at this point.

That's definitely true. Nintendo does seem to have a knack for coming up with strange hardware that works. They've done it before and I assume they'll do it again. I'm reserving all judgement on the Revolution controller until I start reading reviews of the device actually in use and/or use it myself.
