I saw at work that the first season of "Lost" was out on DVD today.  I was going to jokingly email RichN and tell him to pick me up a copy so we could watch the whole thing before this season's opener.  RichN is a tightwad and the price of the thing would have put him in shock.

So imagine my surprise when I got home and found the damn thing waiting for me!  And we actually have a free weekend so we're going to get "Lost" transformed all weekend long.  1,038 minutes of "Lost".  Pure heaven.

Very awesome. Lost is such a good show. I'd like to watch the first season before season 2 starts, but I don't think I've got time. Maybe I'll have to settle for the last 5 or something.

That's very sweet. Hell, I just want Season 3 of CSI. It's the only season that has eps that I've never seen.

For a man who refuses to pay over $15 for a DVD... Knowing him, I bet he broke down the price per DVD in the set and found out it, per DVD, it was in his price range.

I notice that RichN has yet to defend himself on any of this... is he outta town at the moment?  Haha, I'm damn cheap like that too though.  I have to weigh in the minutes to dollar ratio, e.g how long the movie is, how many extras there are.

Which is why it took a lot for me to get the early Paramount DVDs. For $20, you got, as "special features," scene selection and the trailer. Thankfully, they've lowered the prices of even their loaded DVDs.

Actually he's in town this week (for once).  I think he just wanted to make his wife happy since we have a whole weekend off (for once).
