My dad's 76th birthday is next week (don't forget Vengeance and Elmono - it's September 11).  My sisters' kids gave him his presents last week.  Wesley (in 7th grade) gave Spike a Snickers bar because of the commercials saying if you are Grumpy (and Spike is ALWAYS Grumpy), that a Snickers bar will make you feel better.  Spike said "yeah but you know I like these frozen".  To which Wesley replied "yeah, I know.  But I was afraid you wouldn't be able to eat it when your teeth are out."  Understand that Spike doesn't have dentures at all.

Kelsey (in 10th grade) gave Spike a bag of dirt.  She said it was the only thing she could find that was older than Spike!

Grandkids, gotta love them.
