OK, I'm really pissed off at everyone.  Why did no one give me a clue at the ending of this movie?  The last 30 minutes were freaking agonizing!  I thought this would be a female Rocky.  It ain't.  I don't think I can ever watch the thing again.  Had an interesting discussion with RichN about the final decision, though.  Man, that film was tough.

But I can see why Clint, Hillary, and Morgan got their Oscars.  Just damn glad I didn't see it at a theatre.  I would have flooded the place.

It's a great movie. I'm hoping I can get Vengeance to watch it with me today. You do know the ending of the movie was spoiled all over the place because it was in the middle of a controversy but it's better not to know the end of it because you're right, it's pretty tough going at the end.

I didn't cry actually. I had no urge to cry. The only time I got misty was when Danger came back. That whole thing with him getting beaten up and then coming back later really got to me.

I absolutely can see why all three of them are so highly praised as actors. I loved the talks that Morgan and Clint had, but....it's just not my type of movie. It's highly highly doubtful that I'll ever watch it again. At least I have classics like Beetlejuice to fall back on.  Roll Eyes

Yeah, I'm beginning to think that Chris married the wrong woman. hehe

Beetle-soos, beetle-soos, beetle-soos.  That's how elmono used to call on him.  One of his favorites as a wee lad.

OK, so i finally saw the movie tonight.  Wow! it was damn good.  I mean it definitely was a Rocky-type of movie, but the ending obviously just changed everything... quick question though.  Anybody ever figure out what went wrong between Frankie and his daughter (e.g. why was she always returning his letters?)?

I think it's because she's a judgmental bitch. Wink
