Can we find out if he's a Berkeley grad?

"Senator Dick Ackerman was born in Long Beachand is a graduate of Bellflower High School. In 1964, he earned his Bachelor's degree inMathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, and three years later earned his Juris Doctorate degree from UCSF's HastingsSchool of the Law"

How objective and mature of him to attack the BCS over its faults.  Nice of him to mention the horribly injustice done to TEXAS FOR FIVE YEARS in his consideration of Cal's shafting this year and USC's ass-kissing...

Haha, that's awesome. I wasn't really expecting him to be a Cal grad. rofl.

I can't say I was surprised... I'm just amazed some asshat like that has the audacity to make a move after one year where a legitimate case could be made for either team... it's not like Texas was undeserving

Right. And weird, the other times I loaded up that article, all I got was the first sentence. Excuse my n00bness for not already knowing he was a Cal grad, hehe. And what a great Senator: wanting to get rid of the sytem that did get a state school into the title game. It's obvious he doesn't really care about the whole state.

Or that fact that by abolishing that system, the title game would probably have been OU/AU (assuming BCS is gone and polls are delayed until October).  Without the make-up voting, USC is shafted again (rightly so) this year and the other Pac-10 team is hung out to dry.  He's lucky this system is in place so he and his crappy conference got as many benefits as they did.

And btw, that clip was from a biography on him, not that article ;)  You're not THAT n00b, lol

No, I know the source was different. But the ESPN article did mention that he was a Cal grad and it never showed up for me.
