Repeated head trauma can cause brain damage

« on: Jul 02, 2005, 08:07 PM »

For some reason, about two months ago, my DVD burner decided that it would no longer burn DVDs. This of course caused me to run dangerously low on space (especially today, where I had one of my hard drives down to 88KB free) because of the things I needed to burn on DVD. I just tried updating the firmware and it appears to have worked. I just started burning one of like 6 DVDs that I was desperately needing to burn. Mmmm, I should be able to reclaim like 25GB of space tonight.

Gah... I think I may have spoke too soon. I was able to burn 2 DVDs and now it's failing again. Dammit.

So weird... I flashed it again and it worked again. I tried burning the same DVD compilation that caused the problem in the first place and it did it again. So there's something hinky with that compilation. Guess I'll be burning that on CD instead of DVD. Rawr.

lmao, I doubt it, considering what I'm burning is episodes of TV shows that were made in the grey area to begin with.
