Something lacking ingenuity? Hehe, well, it can be Scan Line Interleaving from the old Voodoo days, or Scalable Link Interface for the new nVidia cards (had to look up the nvidia name).
This might fall under the "too obscure" category, but there was a mechanical computer built that could play a game of tic-tac-toe. The input bits were manually set in place and it was cranked to determine where the computer wanted to move. What was it built out of?

I'm with the old SLI definition of Scan Line Interleave. I still have two Voodoo 2's that have an SLI connection. That was quality leetness, lol |
