It originally stood for "Ideas from the Deep" but eventually they made both letters lowercased to change the meaning of the company name as a psychological concept. I can't think of anything right now so here's an easy one: What ESRB rating did "E for Everyone" replace? |

The whole time, the ESRB wanted to use E for the rating but some other company had a trademark on E (weird, I know). So when the trademark expired, the ESRB nabbed it up and replaced K-A with it.
