1 win from Omaha

So we played Baylor today and managed to get out of 2 jams (as in, bases loaded with no outs) with no runs scored against us. We came from being down 1-2 to win it 4-2, and we play again tomorrow. Win that and we're headed back home to Omaha, woohoo! Too bad our trip to Nebraska wasn't this year, heh. Although the main person I wanted to see when I was there is now living in Texas...

hey now, you could have come out for the regional here in Texas and I would have gone with you, though i wouldnt have rooted for Clemson, haha. Nebraska had its own regional though, and you can bet now that i dont live in Omaha, I'll venture back every other year or so for the CWS. Well, I'll venture back probably once a year or so to see my mom, haha, or else...

It would have been awesome to go out there for the games against Baylor. How far is San Antonio from Waco?

bout 2 and a half hours or so. Just up I-35 from here. You could have flown into either San Antonio or Austin, which is an hour north. The new airport there in Austin actually sits upon the land where my old house at Bergstrom AFB used to be.
