Someone posted on the Disney board that the Star Wars weekends at MGM have been extended through June 26th.  Can anyone get confirmation on this for me?  None of my Disney sites are updated for this.

I looked everywhere and could only find the Weekends lasting until June 12.

I also found out that Lucas vacationed there in February. That would have been fun for people to run into him. Too bad we never notice the celebrities when we're there. It's because they're all hot, tired, and trying to keep track of their kids like the rest of us.  Smiley

OK, elmono and Rich can get on my ass about this but we did "run into" a celebrity at MGM.  I was nose to nose with Steve Tyler and just about knocked the man down.  Surely you've heard that story about a hundred times by now.  I only tell it every chance I get.  I think my words to elmono, sweet innocent elmono, were "did you f***ing see that?"

Yes, Steve Tyler of Aerosmith. I'm the one who spotted him going into the restaurant we were going to. We were waiting for my mom to get there. I saw him walking down and I couldn't believe so I turned to my dad and asked, "Was that Steven Tyler?" He looked and said, "It might be."

Then, while being led to our seats, he comes around the corner to go to the bathroom. My mom and I nearly run right smack into him. And that's our story.

It's official.  The Star War weekends have been extended through the end of June.  No celebrities will be there but everything else is still going on.

Yep, that Steve Tyler.  Spent most of the dinner not watching the cheesy movie flicks on the screen but watching Mr. Tyler and his family.  It was him, his wife (now ex, I believe), his son, and another band member.  No entourage.  No one even remotely bothered them or asked for autographs or anything.  Our server said celebs come in there all the time and all they want is to be treated like any other guest.

Now Barry Bonds, on the other hand, was a royal stuck up person.
