Star Wars Weekend Update

Just got back from the weekend. As predicted, those whacky Star Wars fans were out in force (crack myself up!). Sorry there's no pictures but my camera went TU so the awesome shots I did get are history.
If you are a fan, you really need to get down there for these weekends. Once in the park, everything is free. I got in trouble for attempting to take a picture of Queen Amadala. The Cast Member told me to get in line if I wanted anything. I ignored her. C3PO was there and mobbed. Chewbacca and an Ewok were signing autographs together. They were pretty funny together. Older Anakin was there as well. As well as the younger Obi Won. Sorry for the spellings but I'll never get them right anyway.
Tatooine Traders was a zoo. We did have to stand in line but only for a short while. Once inside, we just could not move at all. We didn't even make it past the first displays without turning around to get out. We literally were trapped for a while. Couldn't move forward (damn people with strollers!) and the people streaming in behind us wouldn't even think about us turning around. Add to all the fun the fact that the freaking attraction empties out into the store so those people were marching out in droves. If you have even remote claustrophobia, you would have been in trouble.
There were several guests who dressed up in costume. All in all, the atmosphere was very friendly (except for that Cast Member, grr) and lively. Other things that were offered but we didn't bother with were special shows of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Play It with Star Wars questions, Star Wars trivia game, Jedi laser training for the kids (we saw that going on), and lots of autograph sessions. Basically, there are things going on all day long. For a fan, I think it's well worth the $55 for a day's admission.
Anyone want to go next Memorial Day weekend, get yourself down there and you can bunk with us.

Spelling corrections (sorry, had to do it
)
Amidala, C-3PO, Obi-Wan
It probably won't be as jam packed next year since this year was the release of Episode III.
I would have been awesome at the Star Wars Millionaire.

But you would have actually had to be there in the, gulp, morning! Only the first two shows of the day are Stars Wars ones.

Take my love, take my land, take me where I cannot stand. I don't care, I'm still free, you can't take the sky from me.
