The question is: What in the world are they going to do next season? Tony and Michelle are done with CTU and Jack is on the lamb. Are they going to do next season about Jack getting back at the Chinese or something? Questions questions questions.

They could do it like Splinter Cell or Metal Gear or something and have Jack do whatever the hell he wants to whoever he wants since he has no one to answer to but himself. Never know, too, maybe Tony and Michelle will be back to help Jack in some way that doesn't involve CTU. Maybe CTU will have to stop Jack from doing whatever he does?

werd. I was kinda hoping that next seasons 24 would involve springin Jack out of some Chinese prison. Im guessing something will somehow tie them all back together again next season. Probably Logan screwing something else up, what a fuckhead. Damn good season though. Leaves everything completely open.

Yeah, I thought that the China story was going to be great for next season. I was really thinking that the whole reason for even introducing the China story was to set up next season. Maybe Fox doesn't want to use China as the "enemy" in the show for US political reasons or something.

I meant that they weren't singling out a country. Just saying that they're Arabs could be anything. They could be Iraqi, Iranian, Saudi, whatever. That's a lot different than villifying an actual country. As much as I wanted to see the China story turn into next season's main plot point, I didn't really see it happening.

Maybe not, but I still think that Fox would rather not single out an actual country as opposed to just saying it was people of some race or religion. Although I suppose there has to be an argument made for singling out Arabs or Muslims.

There were arguments about using Arabs as terrorists. I really don't know why people complain when most of the terrorists that attack the US ARE Arabs. It's like a British movie using Irish terrorists... the Brits ARE attacked by Irish terrorists.
