Repeated head trauma can cause brain damage

« on: Apr 25, 2005, 04:55 PM »

The CEO of Opera stated last week that if Opera 8 was downloaded 1 million times in its first four days of release, that he'd swim from Norway to the United States. His challenge was met and he started his swim today.

There's no way he makes it. But it's good publicity. Now let's just hope that tomorrow's headline isn't "Opera CEO dies in crazy publicity stunt."

No kidding. This is just plain crazy. There's no way he makes it, but it's still crazy.

A shark is going to taste test him... (sharks do not eat people, they mearly taste. It just happens humans are pretty fragile when it comes to serrated teeth)

I saw a picture yesterday where there was someone in a little paddleboat thing and there was a guy swimming beside it. I assume that the guy swimming was the CEO. There's still no way he makes it across the Atlantic. I mean, hell, swimming just the English Channel is a big enough task.
