They announced the NFL regular season schedule yesterday.  The Atlanta Falcons are on Monday Night Football at home not once, not twice, but three freaking times.

We knew about the opener against the Eagles.  That's fine for a one time thing.  But two more?  Fortunately, we will miss the last one because we'll be somewhere in the Caribbean cruising with Mickey et al.

Now, the MNF thing should be a great thing for Atlanta.  However, having to get downtown for a weekday night game is going to be horrible.  And then having to go to work on Tuesday is going to be a nightmare.  What the hell were they thinking?  Watch the opener and see if the seats are all full.  Last time they had a night game, most people gave up trying to get to the Dome.  They ended up going home or watching the game from a bar.

Atlanta downtown traffic sucks on a regular day.  Throw 70,000 more people into the mix and it's a disaster.

Lol, Atlanta downtown sucks because people can't drive (and the surface road connections are sadly underdesigned for the traffic they receive off the interstate)... I'm sorry though, there's no reason to have three home MNF games, that's just screwed up.  Kinda nice for Atlanta (kinda crappy at the same time) but cmon guys, spread the games around.
