I'm not religious at all but it's a sad, sad day for everyone.  The second longest reigning Pope in history.  He did a lot in such times of change.  The man truly was a leader for not only his people, but for the world.

Most of the posters on this forum haven't gone through an Papal election.  It's a very elaborate and involved process that will take some time.  It's very traditional and holy.

I was very saddened by the news. Our professor told us in class today. Apparently the news broke on it during our midclass break so we found out about the same time that everyone else did.

He's done some great things and he really proved that someone can die with dignity.
