After facing perjury charges from lying about a shooting in 2001, Lil' Kim is going to jail and is facing a 20 year sentence.

Of course, since she's a celebrity, I bet the sentence will be cut down severely. At least it's one less rapper now...

I hate the fact that celebrities can just do whatever the hell they want and their expensive attorneys will get them off the hook no matter what the crime was.

She should go to jail, though. I hate rappers.

Ditto on the rapper h8ing.  $20 says she gets a soft sentence in a soft jail... I'll be quite surprised if anything else happens.

I wonder if they allow nipple pasties in jail? If so, she'll be fine.

I still don't understand how she was able to wear one of those at whatever awards show and not have the FCC freak out but Janet Jackson can't wear one at the Super Bowl...

Yeah, you mean at the MTV Awards Show where Diana Ross fondled her big fake titty? I think the difference was that the MTV Awards Show was on cable TV and therefore wasn't "for the family" and back then the FCC weren't quite the Ass-Nazis they are now...but yeah, I see the double standard too.

I'd been wondering about that, too. What happened at the MTV show was way more offensive or whatever (not to me, of course; I didn't care about either one) but there was no fallout like there was with Janet Jackson. I agree, though; it's probably due to the fact that MTV is a cable channel and the FCC wasn't as bad then. That was like 6 years ago, after all.
