I thought it went great and I don't like Hanson, but they did an amazing job singing the anthem.

The gentleman that did the whole start your engines thing should give lessons to the timid idiots that do it for some of the races in the states. The passion of the Mexican people was obvious and it seemed that the environment was very welcoming.

I'm hoping that there was a mini boost in the economy because of the race and I'm actually really hoping that NASCAR heads back there for years to come.

NASCAR is apparently very happy with how the race turned out and how smoothly things went with getting the haulers to the track so expect them to be back there next year

coo.  We've spread Wal-mart to Mexico, we should spread NASCAR as well; part of that whole global culture, haha.  Kind of like how the Japanese have spread drifting to us.  all this spreading makes the world go round.

I remember when I was in Mexico City I saw a Wal-Mart. I wanted to go in just so I could see a Mexican Wal-Mart (although I bet everything is the exact same except in Spanish)
