Supreme Allied Commander

« on: Dec 21, 2008, 12:17 PM »

I went to a ceremony Friday and there were two other reporters there and my story kicked the BUTT of their stories. *conceited giggle*

Here's the supposedly emotional Awwww one written by a reporter for a rival paper...
Not close to as good as mine

Here is the factual one that was supposed to be patriotic I guess by the second reporter there for the rival paper....
Closer to being almost as good as mine

And here is the awesome of awesome! Yay me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm submitting this for an award

With the AP Awards around the corner, I'm very excited.

*jumps around for joy*

Seriously, I always worry about if my stuff measures up and this time, I proved that I'm much better than any small time paper. Too bad I'm not sticking with it, but still... yay me!!!!!

Make sure your head can fit through the door Wink

Yeah, yours was good and that first one was... high schoolish to be honest.

nice story.  I've got some buds in the Ohio AF NG, but I never get sick of troop stories around the holidays.

Man, I remember the fight people had against shutting down the Ohio Air National Guard. People still sport the magnetic bumper stickers for it.

I got some buddies in it; they actually do what I do, though from a portable ground station instead of an aircraft.  Ground TACS... good stuff.
