Special Top 12 List

I'll have to admit, Kyle Busch's was a good one. I do love the looks on some of the drivers' faces as they walk in. Hamlin looked like he was annoyed he was there, Bowyer looked like he's had enough with traveling, Stewart looked like a penguin, and Junior had his serious face going on.

Amen. I'm sick of all the fighting in that sport sometimes. I get that it's heated, but hell, it's fun sitting at home and watching so you'd think they'd relax a little.

The Harvick/Edwards fight looked pretty amusing. All the pictures they showed of Harvick during it, he looked like he was more annoyed than anything.

There are "fights" in all major sports.  Bench clearing brawls in baseball, pushing and shoving in football, shoving in basketball (and even brawls there), and of course, hockey.

The thing I've noticed about NASCAR that doesn't really happen that much in other sports is the trackside announcers are allowed access to the drivers immediately after the race.  All drivers, not just the winner (who, obviously, is going to be happy).  The drivers who are pissed at someone else are going to express that.  Similarly, drivers coming out of the Care Center after a crash (which they usually haven't seen on a replay yet) are immediately accessible to reporters.

This used to happen in other sports but if you notice now, most of them have what I call a "green room" (in a nod to the Academy Awards).  The players are allowed to cool down after the game and then face reporters.  All the press is in one room and the player (or coach) only has to answer questions once.

In NASCAR, how would you like to be the driver who was going for the win and was taking out in the final lap by some stupid ass move?  As soon as you step on foot outside of the Care Center, you have someone in your face asking you "cal you tell me what happened out there?"  You can't swear, you can't be pissed.  NASCAR could fine you.  The only thing you can do is send out the word that you decline to be interviewed.  But you'll get asked that same question over and over and over again the next day by 100 different reporters.
