I never thought I could feel so free
Flying away on a wing and a prayer
Who could it be
Believe or it, it's just me

Yes, I did that from memory.

Trivia - for the first season, Ralph's last name was never mentioned.  Because John Hinkley had just tried to assassinate Ronald Reagan.

That's crazy. I guess I can see the point, but after 9/11 they still aired 24.

They heavily edited the scene with the plane blowing up and removed almost all references to it... but in the end, Fox doesn't like giving in to pressure. Neither does Paramount it seems when it released The Sum of All Fears the February after 9/11. Or 311 with a song called Bomb the Town that was going to be released after 9/11. They decided to stick with the title because it's about bombing a town with music.

You have to remember this was in 1981 and Hinkley's trial wasn't until 1982.  The pilot for the show aired just twelve days before the assassination attempt and the last name was Hinkey.  When the air debuted that fall, the name was changed to Hanley and then during that season, he was referred to as Mr. H. by the students or something in the background drowned out his last name when spoken.

It was only after the trial that the last name of Hinkley was used.
