It's amazing how in touch you and other military people can be overseas nowadays. It wasn't too long ago people had no idea what the boys overseas were doing and had to wait for the snail mail to arrive.

If they let you have enough bandwidth for downloading CoH on Steam, do they let you have enough bandwidth (or permission) for Skype video chat? I've been using that the last couple months to talk to my parents rather than the cell phone and it works really well. My parents and sister went to see my grandma up in North Carolina this weekend and my sister brought her laptop with her and I was able to video chat with my grandma. Even gave her a virtual tour of my apartment since she's never seen it and likely won't ever have a chance to come down to see it. Although, if she has plans to come down at some point, I'd really rather her wait another year so she can see a just-purchased house rather than an apartment.
