Darren, the oldest cat, died today. It was exactly one year after Tamara died, if you include the extra day for Leap Year. He was 14 and passed away without any pain.

In the picture, Darren is the one on the right, sleeping with his best friend Abigail, who he took care of since she was a kitten.

It really was a sweet moment in a lot of ways. Mom was holding him and gave him to me and Marlie sat down next to me and told him she loved him. He seemed frightened until he heard Marlie's voice and then he calmed down. He loved her so much.

RIP, Old Man. I love you.

Darren is over the Rainbow Bridge playing like he did when he was a kitten.  Everyone will miss you.
