Seems like Ford is dropping the Taurus and will replace their stock cars with the new Ford Fusion in 2006. It's based on the Mazda 6.

I thought the same thing. Ford looking like GM? How can that be? They're usually more different than that. But here's a similar-angled shot of a Cadillac CTS. Not identical, no, but it was enough for me to immediately see the similarity.
