Delish in the dish.

From IMDb:

"Fans of Fox's 24 who were miffed at the decision to delay the show's return until next January learned Wednesday that the network is developing a two-hour movie to air in the fall that will bridge the sixth and seventh seasons of the show. Fox had produced eight episodes of the seventh season when production was shut down last November by the writers' strike, causing the network to pull the show off its schedule entirely rather than air a partial season. Each episode follows Kiefer Sutherland's character Jack Bauer, a government agent, during each hour of a single day."

Sounds like what they did with Battlestar Galactica, make a movie to make fans happy until the next season begins.

So the movie is going to cover two hours? I wonder what kind of plot they can pull of in two hours.

Or it will be a condensed timeline, which is what they were planning on doing with the 24 theatrical movie

I don't even care at this point. They've destroyed me by waiting to do this another year and Chris knows why. I'm not watching it this time! I mean it this year. It's not like last time when I said I wouldn't watch it. This time I'm really really really finished.  Undecided

Oh, hey, I just realized something. They're only making a movie this year so there isn't a terrorist attack. They know that since 24 has been on the air, there have been no terrorist attacks in the US... but that Times Square bombing is a small hint of what would happen if Jack is not allowed to fight terror.

It's been too long, precious 24, way too long. I was very surprised to see Robert Carlyle and Jon Voight in it, and was really happy to see Tony Todd. All in all, I thought it was excellent and really does showcase stupid American policy in Africa. President Daniels stated it directly saying that there's no resources in "Sengalia" so that's why they're not intervening. So while on one hand, I would like for the US to not get involved in foreign stuff anymore, on the other something does need to be done in Africa even if it means military intervention. I guess it's a good thing I'm minoring in Political Science now.
