When Brady got sacked towards the end, we both yelled so loud (Rich with BUYA!) and me with clapping and yelling, that we have two cats go running out of the room.

And would you believe that in the middle of the season, one guy in our fantasy football league predicted this outcome of the Super Bowl?  We all laughed, of course.

Oh, yeah, I was excited when Brady got his ass sacked. However, I was also concerned because I knew a guy like him could easily change everything with a Hail Mary pass. So the first pass I was tense. It was incomplete. However, he had one more chance. So I was tense again. And then it was incomplete. Thank goodness.

Now the greatest play of the game and the play that won the game for the Giants? When friggin Eli Manning escaped from the middle of that gaggle of Patriots, nearly getting sacked. I could not believe he did it... let alone rip off a pass for a first down. That was just friggin amazing. He deserved the MVP just for that play alone.

As for the commercials, lackluster although there were a few I liked.

Super Bowl Ads
First Quarter: Bridgestone ad with the screaming animals
Second Quarter: FedEx ad with the pigeons
Third Quarter: Vitamin Water ad with Shaq on the horse (it was just hilarious to me for some reason, probably the expressions on Shaq and the seriousness of him while racing); Bud Light ad with "Wheel Suck!"; Bridgestone ad with Richard Simmons; Wall-E teaser because it looks like an amazing movie
Fourth Quarter: none
Fox/NFL Promos: The highlight of all the ads, however, were the Terminator ones where the T-888 is kicking the ass of the Robot Football Guy. Totally unexpected.

This year's Super Bowl has now become the most watched Super Bowl ever, beating out the 1996 Super Bowl, which had 94.08 million viewers. This year had 97.5 million viewers. Only one other program has had higher viewership and that was the series finale of MASH with 106 million viewers.
