It's a new year, suckas. The greatest thing about 2008? Bush finally gets voted out! AWESOME!!! (Yeah, yeah, I know he's officially out of office on January 21, 2009, but still...)

Well, technically, is he voted out? His term expires and he's not eligible for another. If he'd lost in 2004, I'd say he was voted out.

Yes, he's voted out because votes are cast to choose the next president and he can't be voted on. So there.

Happy New Years from our temp home for the week, Maryland. Real fun time last night. Grandma was already saying at 10:00 that it was her bedtime. She lasted until 11:45 and then said goodnight. Grandpa lasted until about 12:30. The rest of us were up until 3:00 AM. But did you know that the South Park movie was on the Comedy Channel at midnight UNCUT!? Missed the Uncle Fucker song, though since I was flipping channels and came into it after that song.
2008 started off good. Went to see about 50 idiots jump into the Potomac River in 40 degree temperatures and a wind chill in the 20s. It was for a good cause, though. All proceeds and donations went to the Washington County Humane Society. Lots of dogs also made the plunge. But many disappointed dog faces when their owners had to pull them out since the owners were cold.

in that case, I say Chris is being voted out of office in 2008 since he can't be voted on... or rather nobody will vote for him. |

I think it's better to say Bush is being kicked out of office since we all know whoever takes the position in November will tell him to get the hell out and never come back, even for a visit.
