Then I'm a pinko commie.  I know, I know, you've said a million times that we should see it.  But dad does the DVD buying and the last time I mentioned it, he snorted and said "yeah, right".

I talked to him last night.  His response - "I've seen that thing in the dump bin all the time.  Just didn't seem to be something you (meaning me) wanted to get."

So I told him we'd be disowned by our own son if we didn't get it.  I'm tryin', I'm tryin'.

Because cheap DVDs in a dump bin mean they're bad movies... yeah. There's a lot of older DVDs of good movies that get placed there because, well, they're older DVDs.

Oh, showed Vengeance the poster and she loves it. If you guys saw the movie, you'd understand Smiley

Oh, we are definitely not dump bin snobs.  That's where we get ALL our DVDs.  Dad just said he looked at it and didn't think it was something that I would like.  Hell, we have several DVDs that we've gotten for $1.  Some of them are less than good but some are pretty decent.

I was about to say... the "wonderful" quality of the movies he usually gets... and he passes on Harold and Kumar. For shame.

Remember him coming home all excited because he got Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon?  And you asked why he got that movie.  The look on his face was priceless.  "But I thought it was a good movie!  It won all those awards!".  I had to remind him that The Piano also won alot of awards and that sucked so bad.

But he tries.
