The remaining two co-defendants in the Michael Vick dog fighting fiasco are scheduled to plead guilty later this week for a reduced sentence and be able to testify against Michael Vick.  Vick still maintains his not guilty plea.

In a related note, the NFL is expected sometime this week to announce that Vick is formally suspended from the league for the 2007 season.  If Vick is found not guility in his trial which begins November 26th, he could be reinstated.  However, it's basically a moot point since he would not have practiced with the team all year.

Fantasy footballers - write off Vick and put in Harrington.  And drop Atlanta QBs down to the bottom.  Their defense, however, could be very good.

This just in - Looks like Michael Vick will strike a plea bargain agreement himself.  An announcement is scheduled for this afternoon.  Federal authorities were seaking to bring additional charges against Vick based on the information gathered from his other three "friends". Prison time for Vick is expected.

That sound you just heard was the Georgia Dome roof collapsing.

Vick accepted the deal...

He would have been stupid not to but I would rather have seen him in jail longer if he was found guilty

Can't imagine we'll see him in the NFL again after this.

The NFL will conclude their investigation "ASAP".  We're wondering if Vick gets a year suspension and he goes to jail for a year, does that count as his suspension?

The Falcons could cut him for acts detrimental to the sport of football (the smartest thing to do).  However, this is Atlanta.  The whole incident has been turned into a racial one.  Heightened by one Terrance Moore who has to be the most racist sportswriter in this town.  Moore is black.

The Falcons are left with Joey Harrington as their #1 quarterback and Chris Redman as their #2.  Both white.  Neither one has played a snap since 2005.  The third quarterback, Shockley, a hometown favorite, is out for the year with an ACL injury.  Shockley is black.

I wouldn't care of Vick is a redneck, still-brewing, north Georgia mountain, rusted-pick-up-driving, gun rack-in-the-back-window white guy.  He killed dogs (allegedly).
