Why's he gotta take his wife and kid with him, too? I'm not condoning suicide, but if you're gonna do it, just do it to yourself at least and don't kill others before you go.

Everyone here is saying that the Chris (the wrestler, not elmono) they knew would never do anything like this. He was so nice and friendly and really cared about his family. Well, guess what folks, he did do it and he tok his family with him. And that's what steroids will do to you.
Similar incident happened in May but with another substance. High school football team captain had a one car crash and killed himself. Not intentional but the kid wasn't wearing his seatbelt and alcohol level tests came back this week. Alcohol reading of .1638. Legal limit in Georgia is the normal .08. So the kid had twice the legal limit. NOt only that, he was 18 years old, three years younger than the legal age. In Georgia, the alcohol limit for anyone under the drinking age is .03.
How did he get the booze? Everyone is claming up because this was a high school football team captain and high school sports rule here. He'll always be remembered as a "good kid" who died tragically. The kid did it to himself and whoever supplied him with the booze should go to hell (if you believe in that sort of thing).

The good kid who died tragically was one of the girls on my sister's track team who was riding in a car and they came up on a stopped car on the interstate or something. Not sure if it was traffic or what but they stopped. Someone behind them came barreling into them and she was killed. That really sucks.
How can there be a legal limit other than 0.0 for anyone under age 21? That's always boggled my mind. They're not of legal age so how the heck is it legal to have any alcohol in their system? .03 surely is higher than what would be there if they'd had a dose of cough syrup or something, yes?

Because there's always something that's not alcoholic that can provide a reading like that, or a reason a minor can consume alcohol. Just want to cover their bases and not bust a kid for taking a swig of cough syrup or a little bit of wine at church. Plus I believe military bars serve alcohol to under 21 servicemen. Rolando can confirm or deny that for me.

Um, they're not SUPPOSED to. I myself have never seen it happen. We have had a bar in every squadron I've been in, but the only folks I've ever seen use them are officers, and I've never met one under 21. I know that the Enlisted Club will not serve alcohol to minors either. That's not to say that youngsters can't find alcohol just like any other minors outside the military.

Yeah, everyone has some trace amounts of alcohol in their system. Even a tee-totaler. You can pick it up from lots of places you would never even think of. Anything with menthol in it is really a very low dose of alcohol. I just checked some back rub we have - menthol is one of the ingredients. My lip balm - menthol. Mouthwash and toothpaste - menthol. Things that you put on your skin that have menthol in it cam be absorbed into your blood stream. I'm not quite sure because I can't color my hair anymore but I think hair dyes also have some alcoholic properties to them.
Back to Chris Benoit - we're getting a lot of the coverage here because it happened in Peachtree City. Now it seems that the son was recently diagnosed with Fragile X Syndrome (I have no idea what that is) which can produce autistic like symptoms and for which there is no cure. Also, the wife just had neck surgery and ws in constant pain. She didn't want Benoit to quit wrestling but she wanted him home more often. Now their pastor is saying that the couple constantly argued.
Freaks me out that he killed his wife on Friday, his son on Saturday and himself on Sunday. What was he doing? Pacing himself?
