Wow... talk about end of the world. Junior as a teammate to Jeff Gordon? The fans must be rioting...

Me loving it.  One of the few Dale and Jeff fans out there.  Just wish it could be #8 racing with #24 and #48.

At least Kyle is getting the boot.  Mutual decision my ass.

Dale had some funny comments to make during the press conference.  One of them was that he always loves beating Jeff Gordon and he doesn't think that is going to change in the future.

Merchandisers are going crazy.  Not announced yet - car number, sponsor, color scheme.  Dale will continue to drive a Chevy.

Can't wait for Speed Channel preshow coverage on Sunday.  Wonder what Jimmy Spencer is going to say?

The 90 minute preshow on TNT will be nothing but Junior. Why can't they take 30 minutes of that and put it at the end of the race for interviews?

I just went to find a method to end my existance on this earth with yet ANOTHER 90 minute preshow.  TNT has their heads up their asses with NASCAR coverage.  OK, Carl Edwards went on a carrier and participated in war games.  Show it once, move on.  Fid something else of interest.

And if the Detroit area has rain, I'm plugging in a movie one minute after the scheduled start of the race.  I can't go through another rain delay with TNT.  Chinese water torture (no pun intended) would be better.

Oh, shoot, that's right. Whatever weather I get here, MIS will also get. I think it's supposed to be 89-93 degrees over the weekend... which is why I'm against going to an MIS race just because of the heat. We're supposed to get T-storms here but I forget when. For some reason, I think it was for Sunday...

EDIT: Yup, I was right. Isolated T-storms scheduled for Sunday

Rain scheduled for Sunday.  How nice.  Haven't had a rain delay in NASCAR for quite a while.  NOT!

So I guess if we come up there for the August race, going to the quals at MIS is out of the question for you?  "I'm melting, I'm meeeeltiiiiing, what a world, what a world......."

New forecast for Sunday: Just partly cloudy. The rain was moved back to Tuesday.

Oh, I had forgotten about you wanting to come up here for qualifying in August.

Then there's hope.  Spike will be here for the weekend and if I haven't already killed him by Sunday, it'll be nice to watch it together.
