Yes, that's right.  The TV series Lost is ending.  But in a good way, I think.  Rather than trying to continue to hold on and hope for renewals every season, Lost will end.  In 2010.  It's been announced that after this season, Lost will run 48 more original epsidoes over the next three seaons.  16 episodes each season.  Uninterrupted.  And then all the mysteries of the island will be solved.  I'm really liking this resolution.  For a show like this, you can't have unsolved story lines.

Everybody knew it would end soon, but this is different than what I was expecting. But a schedule like 24, where it runs without interruption, is the best way for this show. Airing 6 episodes and then going on hiatus for 13 weeks was the worst possible thing to do and almost killed the show.
