Found an interesting article on Yahoo Sports

http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=knight-stadiumsagadefieslogic&prov=knight&type=lgns

I agree. There really is no reason that the KC Royals need to move out of that stadium. I've been there many times and it is a nice stadium. The fountains and waterfalls in the outfield give it that unique stadium feel, despite the fact it was built during the cookie cutter stadium days... and Kauffman is nothing like those ugly stadiums of old

Agree 100%. I've been there a few times and it's definitely a nice stadium. There is no reason to leave Kauffman unless the owners have some interest in helping to rebuild downtown KC as the article suggests would happen. No real reason to move from where they are now. Plus, it's cool having Kauffman and Arrowhead side-by-side. The city wouldn't have to build anymore parking, either.

That's probably one of the largest parking lots I have ever seen... oh, wait, forgot about the Magic Kingdom in Disney World...

Kauffman Stadium is a class act all the way.  It's perfectly located - right off the interstate.  No, it's not downtown Kansas City but who the hell would want to go down there anyway?

This is just stupid to even think about moving the Royals out of Kauffman.

The only bad thing about the stadium is the freakin' seat nazis.  But, that's not the stadium's fault.
